Self Reporting Damage Survey
AUSTIN - Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) are encouraging Texans to complete the Self Reporting Damage Survey to help the state identify damages across Texas and help emergency management officials gain an understanding of damages that occurred during the recent winter weather. This data is also needed to provide information to FEMA and highlight the need for federal disaster assistance for individuals.
The voluntary survey, available in both English and Spanish, can be accessed by visiting: www.TDEM.texas.gov/warm. Reporting damage to the Texas Division of Emergency Management is a voluntary activity, is not a substitute for reporting damage to an insurance agency, and does not guarantee disaster relief assistance.
"I urge Texans to fill out the Self Reporting Damage Survey and provide crucial information on the winter weather impacts to their home or property," said Governor Abbott. "The information gleaned from this survey will help our state identify the full impact of this winter weather and help emergency management better serve Texans."

BOIL WATER NOTICE
City of Daingerfield - Rescinded
City of Lone Star - Rescinded
City of Omaha
City of Naples
Rural Water: Tri-SUD
If in doubt, boil your water until all lines are repaired and pressure is restored.
Morris County Update February 20th:
Grocery stores are expecting trucks starting tonight thru the next few days.
Most stores are out of or low on fuel but expecting fuel trucks starting today thru the next several days.
As of now most or all major water leaks that the cities are aware of have been fixed. They are pressuring systems back up and trying to catch up. All the cities with the exception of Naples are under boil water notices.
Part of our county is on Tri-sud water and they have boil water advisory in effect as well.
Water samples must be tested before boil water advisories are lifted. Results will hopefully be available by mid-week.
Right now you should turn your water faucets off in order to allow pressure to build back up. Do not leave faucets open or dripping at this time.
Pewitt CISD and Daingerfield ISD schools will be closed Monday and Tuesday due to water issues.
All courthouse offices will be open Monday, February 22nd.
Thank you to our County Emergency Management Coordinator, Brandon Singletary, for being all over this. He has been in constant communication with me, with the state, and with city officials.
