Marriage Licenses, Birth Certificates, and Death Certificates
You can now order vital records (marriage licenses, birth certificates, and death certificates) online.
In office, they will be issued Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Notice: Effective September 1, 2013 New Law Affecting Marriage Licenses
Per Senate Bill 1317, Family Code Section 2.201 Expiration of License
If a marriage ceremony has not been conducted before the 90th day the license is issued, the marriage license expires.
NOTICE : EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1, 2017
SB 1705: TX Family Code 2.003
No one under the age of 18 may apply for a marriage license without a court order authorizing the marriage.
